Sheer rock cliffs - Gates of the Rocky Mountains, MT. The men were overwhelmed by the spectacular beauty of the sheer rock cliffs and the unusual forms of the rock outcroppings. They saw bighorn sheep and marveled at how they walked so easily along the narrow shelves, high up the perpendicular cliffs.
